I’m Ghislaine
I teach Dutch in a safe, online and personal way
No standard classes, no boring methods.
Instead I offer a safe learning environment, a lot of personal attention, flexibility and all the room for your questions and your queries (however small, big, neurospicy or grammatical).
With me you are assured to learn Dutch the way your brain works and at the speed that suits you. Via Zoom, so you can drink your nice coffee or tea from your fav mug and sit wherever and however you want. Because learning something new is scary enough, please just wear your comfy clothes and have your support dog/cat/blanket/other nearby.

Whether you’re a beginner or you already have quite the knowledge of Dutch, doesnt matter. All you need is a little motivation. It might be practical to speak some English or French, but if not, we’ll figure it out. I teach all levels and have over 15 years of experience.
My way
We all start with a short and free intake. Usually over Zoom, but a phone call or meeting irl is also an option. During this intake we:
- talk about your dreams, goals and wishes
- figure out your current level
- discuss homework and testing
- discuss main focus
- find some subjects that interest you
- answer all your questions
After our intake, we decide together on how to continue:
- private classes or a group setting
- how long and how often we meet
- what our realistic goals are
There is no such thing as a ‘basic lesson’. You are the center of your learning adventure. I adjust to your level, speed, interests by creating the learning experience that suits you.
My rates
Private lessons: 75-100 per hour
(I work with a sliding scale, contact me for more info)
Bulk discounts:
- 10 classes = 5% discount
- 20 classes = 10% discount
Group lessons: depends on group size and hours
Classes are usually through Zoom, but I am open to discuss other options.
Cancellation policy
I am very flexible and understand that life sometimes throws something at us and we need to reschedule.
Please read my cancellation policy:
- until 48 hours in advance: cancellation/rescheduling is free
- 48–24 h: 0,5 hour charged
- <24 h/no show: full lesson charged
